I am pleased to inform all businesses in the Hamilton Road area that the final preferred route has been selected for the Union Gas Pipeline project and it appears to be the one we lobbied for, in its entirety

Union Gas intends to use only a small stretch of Hamilton Road between Gore and Highbury Ave and this would appear to be the final route, unless something unforeseen happens.

 I am quite proud of the effort our association and members made to change the minds of those who are decision makers for this project.  It can be frustrating to deal with the bureaucracy and there is no doubt that this pipeline was coming up Hamilton Road all the way, before we made our presentations.
